Nobody is saying that they can't think whatever they want. The issue is that the Cthulhu piece was intentionally offensive to Christians.

And it's more valid because Cthulhu is a piece of fiction...

I must ask you, what makes worshiping jesus christ any more valid than worshiping another God such as Cthulhu?

For my dragons? Those are oil paint on panel.
I have very few digital works in my gallery, but those (three?) were done with PaintShop pro 7.

There was much worse. "In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Cthulhu Spirit" or something.

I saw that, and thought "gee, that's stupid. It doesn't matter that it's "art" when it's attacking beliefs, at least that's what I think. What horrified me much more than that pathetic piece, was the responses. My gosh did you see such horrible things? They were raving and saying things like "hail cthulu" or however it is spelled. worshiping that damned thing. .o:
if it was artistic comments and the like I might not have minded so much...but they weren't, they were...appalling.
