A friend of mine recently commented that humans and dinosaurs could never have coexisted, because the environment would have been too hostile for our survival. Of course I disagree, and this planted the seeds for a painting. Despite the fact that people are always dino-fodder in Hollywood films, I think ancient man could have held his own. Mankind has always had a remarkable ability not only to adapt to his environment, but to subdue it. This is how I imagine a pre-flood civilization would take down an Allosaurus.

Painter X and PS CS3.

*Edit* Fixed some issues with the foreground hunter's anatomy and proportions; added stripes to the Allosaurus; also brightened the background values to bring out the shape of the Allosaur more strongly.

This is spectacular, almost immaculate. You did a great job in virtually every artistic facet - from the vibrant colouring, to the dynamic shading, to the superb form. If it had been possible, I would have offered some form of constructive criticism, but this supercedes my own skill level by light-years, haha.

I, for one, believe that, at some point in time - thousands of years ago - man and prehistoric beasts, including dinosaurs, co-existed, and seeing that belief illustrated so magnificently only heightens my faith. Thank you. As a matter of interest, I believe that dinosaurs became extinct during the flood (meaning humans and dinosaurs co-existed for almost 3700 years), but that is just an opinion.

Please, don't let the comments of any dogmatic or deeply-entrenched evolutionist, athiest or secularist affect you (as I have seen several of those here among the comments). You've done a fantastic job.

Since you believe in the Flood, what do you think of Atlantis and Mu (Which is also known as Lemuria). Some believe the city of Enoch was Atlantis. To be honest, even though I believe in Evolution, I believe a dinosaur survivor could have lived on Atlantis

I haven't studied Atlantis, so I can't really speculate.

Here is a [link] about Atlantis I think you might find helpful. I personly belive that the pre-flood world might have been "Atlantis"

I definitely like this :D

As a amateur Creationist, I too agree with you :D
I know of a weapon that can possibly kill a dinosaur, like your allosaur here, easily. Want to hear?

Sure, what is it?

A long bow (about 6 to 7 feet high) with a Clovis arrowhead. With the Clovis' sharpness and the power from the bow (I heard that it is extremely effective) would go through a dinosaur's hide easily, aimed at the right spot.

Yeah, I'm sure that would work, too. English longbows could pierce armor, so I wouldn't doubt that it could penetrate a dinosaur.
